It's 1 1 mins before midnight and it'll be 2008!! Yayys! okay. 1 year has passed in the blink of an eye. Cgs crescent i really missed those times ..then it was the O lvls, then, first 3 mths in Yj ;) P25. Had a whale of a time there. Then a 1 mth break which i had signed up for a public speaking course. And i don't want to elaborate on it when i got traumatised there. :/ He's a freaking fat, guy with a sallow complexion, is lowly educated, has poor elocution skills, almost illiterate and has a freaking poor mentality. And he claims to "love" me... EEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWW to the infinite. YUCKS. Gross! Disgusting. Boy, u should have been there to see him behave. Ok.

Moving along, poly life, NYP PS0702. Well, i can't say much for my class yet..just that some of them are just freaking losers. Hehheh. yup, when you've been together with them for the whole of sem 1 and up to now, they still don't really acknowledge your existence. You'll get that kind of feeling. Hmm.. So simply said, I've moved off to be with another group. Hehhehs. Anws enough said. It feels like all the good things only happened in the first three mths hur? ok. Hehs. Well, 1 thing which i really enjoyed was the japanese exchange programme!! There, i met Japanese students from the Hamamatsu school. Hehes and got to know this cuuute jap guy, Takahashi...(drools) haha he's the boxer flasher! hurhur. ;P

17 of Dec went out with Cc and Hj! Yep camwhored and caught a movie together. :) Simple things make me happy. 22 Dec Relatives gathering! Had roast turkey, shepard's pie.. bread pudding, wine... even the tried special warm wine with raisins and beans with gingerbread recipe from Swedan! Yup, Mmmm. It was simply delicious! Yummy. This was because of the Swedish family that visits every 2 yrs. Hehe. I'm looking forward to their next visit. ^^ And their young son is 14 this year but he's handsome! Hmm.. Too bad he's younger then me. Hmm... seesee first la. :P

Hmm.. that's about it for the year... Hmm.. I think that lately, pretty much of my life have been filled with almost nothing but reports. Hmm.. I gotta get a life. Yea gonna go exercise, meet more Hot guys, refill on eyecandy, read more like, 10 books a year. lose 5 kg. Grow taller by sleeping earlier. (There's something to do with melatonin influencing your growth hormones at night), to be in bed by 12 midnight everday on average. Hmm.. That's about it. So that will be 5 New Year resolutions. 1. Exercise 2. Read 10 books a year 3. Lose 5 kg 4.Grow taller 5. Sleep by 12 midnight on average. :) Yup that roughly sums up my year. Adios!

Recounting... It was just the 3 of us. We went to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks! Haha. It was a very delightful movie. Theodore was the cutest and the chubbiest! Haha. Okay. There is no soul in my writing yet.. Hmm.. Went to see the X'mas lightings, visited Action City and camwhored there! Walked to Heeren and Taka and took more pics! and then we walked to PS haha. Saves money and excercise, a 2 in 1. Just too bad that it was raining though. Hmm, but on the other hand, it was because of the rain that's why there weren't too many ppl around jamming up the streets. Yea. Hehe. Overall, I've really enjoyed myself tt day and yes i look forward to seeing them, my lovelies again! Hehe. Hmm. Have a very merry and joyous X'mas everyone! I really really got to go! My mum's like hounding on my back chasing me to dinner! (She's not really behind me la:p) Oh ya almost forgot, and a Happy New Yr! :D sayounara!

Camp!!
Wednesday, December 19, 2007

yayy! I really enjoyed the camp orgainised by Rotaract Club. It's the retreat camp. Haha. Yups.. Haha ook i don't feeel like i want to type all formal and all the crap. It's getting late. 12.46 am to be exact. Haha. and I've not bathed! again! Oops I'm so unhygenic and I'm like telling everyone here! Haha. But haha noone knows of my blog yet so i don't have to worry i guess haha.

I love the camp! Really needed a break to chill. Haha. On friday night, we had icebreakers. Saturday morning some of us ( the selected ppl? and programme I/Cs) went for foster parenting (fp). I was one of the sub-committe so i had to go. There are 3 ppl in the subcomm la. Hmm, at first i had thought that it would be quite tough for me. I mean it's a leadershp position and also because i've not handled that age grp of children before. There are 3 grps, the baby grp, junior grp and the senior grp and the kids were between the ages of 0 10 12 yrs old. And the junior grp is the most active of the lot ! Though there were 3 of us, it felt like only I was doing the job. Cos 1 of them had to take care of a speacial needs child and the other.. hmm sort of wanted to stay out of it. So yup, tt's why it sort of became a 1 woman show. But then , she did help a bit here and there. I ended up being the one to tell everyone what to do next, give them instructions that sort of thing for most of the part. Hmm.. Let's see.. What is it like to be a leader? You have to lead and instruct ppl? Inspire ppl ? Okay, i've not much idea how i managed to handled the whole event, (i can't think of a better word to describe the process right now so I'm using this word) but i guess i managed to stay calm and composed so i could deliver what i was supposed to carry out. And another thing is that you have to learn to to listen to ur "staff"(wrong word again :p) eg/like call their names and know how to get their attention before giving them instructions.

The kids were wonderful! so full of energy and joy! However, they can bring you both happiness and frustration at the same time. There was this young kid, a girl she was sooooo sweet! sweet face, kept giving me those hot pink balls froom the playground and at each time she gave me a ball, i gave her the other ball back. Haha this went on for a while and she kept passing me the same coloured ball- the hot pink 1 haha. Such a sweet little girl. She then gave some of those colourful balls to her younger brother too. so sweet. Haha. This kinda reminded me of the time when i was little like her, i also had a younger brother somewhere like her brother's age too. Cute hur. That girl is sooo cute.

At the end of it all, i felt that i had really acomplished something because the guy in charge of the whole progrmme or at least the junior group said that it went on pretty smoothly ( except for that little girl who started bawling the moment she arrived) and had achieved what we had aimed at the end of the day which was to make them happy! Haha makes me happy too. All that effort was worthed it! Yea!! I tell you handling 35 hyper-active kids with about 15 volunteers is NOT an easy task. They run, they scream, they climb and they cry like nobody's business! Wow! Children can be amazing! But all in all, haha i still like kids primarily for who they are: young, innocent, naive and for the simple fact that they are mostly non-judgemental of who you are. Well that is until they reach a certain age like 8? and then they'll start judging and all that. Haha. That's why i like kids who are younger than 8 yrs old. Hehheh. Oh ya btw, my snrs also thanked me for handling the event. Hmm, i don't think they were praising me, but i felt that they were glad that the whole thing went well. Haha. I guess it was important as there was going to be some inspector coming that day, so there was a pressure to perform well. Haha. One of them even said that i can be some I/C already and handle the juniors now.. Haha.. Oh well, I'm just feeling glad or shall i say yes proud of myself and what i've managed to achieve! Hehheh. Yes! I am! OKok it's getting really late now, been blogging for abt 45 mins.. gdness. Hehe I totally lub RRC aka Rotaract retreat camp!! Yayy! Hope to see more Outdoor activites in the next 1 though. Hehheh, am relly looking forward to it! Nights! and ciao!

Jap Oral
Thursday, December 6, 2007

Yayy! I can finally uppdate! Hahas :)

Hmm Japanese oral today was...Fine! yayy! When i say fine, i mean it actually turned out to be much better than before. Hehe. Yup, i'm feeling quite glad about it. Hehheh. Because this was the first time that i was not as nervous as i would normally have been. Yea! So i'm glad about it. It went on pretty smoothly during the first part which are the conversation part and the translating part. It was till the part where i had to read the passage then it got kind of challenging because number 1: i was nervous and number 2: i didn't know how to read some Kranji words. Hmm... Hahas. Anws i think i've improved a lot compared to the last time i had oral. Hehheh.

This brings me back to the time when i was having my O lvl Chinese oral. Hahas thinking about that really wants to make me laugh. It was bad enough that my examiner had friggin Huge saucer like eyes but on top of that, she was like starring at me through the whole oral la. (OKAY, I MUST CUT DOWN ON MY SINGLISH. ) That was a very unforgetable oral in my whole life that i've experienced. But then again, i can still recall most of the orals that i've taken anyway..
So yes, i feeling whacked. I wanna slp. Do u know that "fax" in Japanese sounds like the F word? Hahas. Interesting. So whenever i want to scold the fword.. hahas... u know..u can probably guess what i'm going to type nxt.. haha yup i can always say " fuckusu" hehheh. But pls, i'm not the type who would use profanities so easily. Haha so rest assured.
